For the second one, she expressed interest in my tiny painting of a grainery (shown here), but requested [...]

Now that it has sold, I can show you my submission to the Anonymous Show put on by the North Vancouver Arts Council. This is a street scene from my neighbourhood (although the house has now been painted red). I would love to find out who chose my painting. Here is a look at the [...]

I will soon be delivering these tiny paintings to Oh Brothers. They are 3” x 3”. I love working on these little canvases and hope to finish a bunch more before Christmas (might be perfect for that hard-to-buy-for person on your list…). It’s a cozy neighbourhood coffee shop a few blocks from my house. The owner, Bruno, has done a great job of creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere, with [...]

Yesterday I put up 16 paintings at the Small Ritual Coffee Society — a relaxed, neighbourly coffee shop in White Rock. We had the opening yesterday evening. Music was played. Coffee was enjoyed. Checkers were played. The art work will be up through the month of August, so stop by for a coffee if you [...]

Today I shipped these four paintings off to the Calgary Stampede Western Showcase. The show includes 129 pieces from 33 artists, all with a Western theme. Unfortunately I am unable to attend the show this year, but am very excited to be a part of it!
